Who are we?

We are a technical training and consultancy business unit, fully owned by the City of Wolverhampton College. The Centre is located on Stafford Park 4 in Telford, Shropshire, England and is equipped with over £1.5 million worth of industrial-scale, plastics processing equipment. PTIC is the largest provider of commercial training and consultancy to the plastics industry in England. 
PTIC was created in 2010 when City of Wolverhampton College purchased the assets of the former Polymer Training Ltd, which was also located in Telford. Thereby, continuing to strengthen the links put in place when the Polymer Industries Training Board was originally established in 1972.

What do we do? 

Here at PTIC, we provide polymer processing training and consultancy; specialising in Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, Thermoforming and Blown Film Technology, as well as mould trialling. We also offer high quality training that can be tailored specifically to your business, as well as being able to deliver courses in-company.
We are open for business all year round; please see our course schedule for more details. ‘Specials’ (courses on dates which are more convenient to you and your delegates) can also be arranged. 
Looking for Health & Safety training too? We can also deliver courses including: NEBOSH – General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Working Safely and NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
