Featuring parallel sessions, this year the event will be held in a fantastic new venue - the Brighton Dome, UK.
The first day will see keynote speeches from Lord Taverne, Chair of the trustees of Sense About Science, a UK organisation which promotes good science in debate, and Wilfried Haensel of Plastics Europe, Belgium. Haensel will present on new opportunities for plastics and the role of PVC.
Following an examination of drivers of change and the global supply/demand outlook, lectures will consider the markets in North America, Japan and southeast Asia, China, and Eastern Europe.
On days two and three parallel sessions will explore such topics as -
· Profiles/cellular
· Environmental concerns
· Flexibles
· Pipes and fittings
· Polymerisation
· Processing technology/property modification
· Additives
