RPC Gent's New Lightweight Bottle

A new-generation lightweight standard Round bottle from RPC Packaging Gent has been launched following research into the requirements of the bleach and demineralised water markets.

Weighing only 70g, the new bottle helps reduce both polymer and logistics costs. Also suitable for the automotive aftermarket, its innovative grip makes it easier for consumers to use. The 2L version will soon be followed by a 1.5L variant. 

Peter Slabbaert, account manager at RPC Packaging Gent says: “This new bottle will help RPC Gent in its goal to market a wider variety of standard bottles where there is still a place for growth.

“Our goal is to minimise material usage and this bottle can also help to reduce transport costs, both of which offer important sustainability benefits to help companies and customers reduce their carbon footprint.”
