| Sally Bailey, Common Sense PR and Marketing Sally approaches Social Media from a common sense, straightforward angle. She talks about using Social Media to raise your company profile within your target market and using the appropriate channels to drive traffic to your website. She shares tips and advice on how to achieve an effective social media presence. A freelance press release writer and social media fanatic, Sally has worked in the plastics industry for 25 years. Originally, with a high profile ancillary machinery supplier and for the past 4 years working independently for a number of companies throughout the industry. She manages company Twitter and LinkedIn accounts for many of her clients who range from material manufacturers through to plastics processors and are located across Europe. Sally is also a supporter of the Plastics Industry Awards, encouraging companies to enter and maximise their exposure with the back-up of their social media. Last year Sally’s advice and assistance helped to create 4 Finalists and 2 Winners throughout the categories. |

| Caroline Edgar, Portland PR Caroline specialises in corporate communications and reputation management. She helps brands to build positive corporate communications programmes which tell a credible story about the business and its values. She has advised iconic global brands including Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Starbucks, Speedo, Ferrero and the Discovery Channel. She has a particular interest in campaigning and corporate social responsibility, and has worked with the NSPCC and CPRE to build campaigns which benefit child victims of crime and abuse and the protection of the rural environment. She has also managed a campaign for IGD which brings together the entire food and grocery supply chain to tackle youth unemployment. For the last two years, this annual campaign has culminated in events at No.10 with the Prime Minister. |

| Chris Hogwood, Portland PR Chris is an experienced corporate communications practitioner having worked in agency and in local government. He specialises in helping clients to understand what it is they need to do to achieve their goals, and then helping them to do it. Chris leads Portland Local – a specialist practice within Portland which exists to help clients navigate the changing landscape of local politics. He has advised clients from a range of different sectors, including property, infrastructure, tech, retail, health and financial services. He is particularly active in the devolution agenda, advising both city leaders and clients on how to maximise the opportunities it presents. Before entering the consultancy world, he worked for London Councils on a variety of issues including London’s infrastructure, preparing for London 2012 and the capital’s resilience team |

Leanne Taylor, British Plastics and Rubber A qualified journalist, Leanne started as Assistant Editor on leading UK journal, British Plastics and Rubber, in 2011, before securing the Editor’s position later that year. Since then, Leanne’s role at Rapid News has widened to include Group Editorship of the company’s other plastics titles, including European Plastic Product Manufacturer (EPPM) and Middle Eastern Plastics (MEP). In 2014 Leanne established Women in Plastics, an industry Group with the ambition of providing support, networking and visibility for women working in the plastics industry, as well as stemming the skills gap by encouraging women into the sector. Leanne’s involvement with Interplas, Rapid News’ flagship event for the UK plastics industry, has seen her promoted to Head of Content for the company, with her role and responsibility including management of the conference programme, features and special events at the show. |
