Dr Chris Howick is a graduate of City University and of Nottingham University. Chris has over 20 years experience working in the PVC industry, Chris became the Product Stewardship Manager for INEOS ChlorVinyls in December 2006 and extended his responsibilities by becoming REACH.Manager.

Alicia Martin, Plastics Europe
After a Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Salamanca obtained in 2000 and a Master Degree of Polymer Science and Technology, Alicia started her professional career carrying out different research projects related to Polyurethanes at the Institute of Polymer in Madrid.
During more than 9 years Alicia has been developing her activity in the plastic associations. Since beginning 2005, she is Consumer and Environmental Affairs Manager of PlasticsEurope for Spain and Portugal and participates in several programme groups with particular focus on resource efficiency and waste management.
Prior to joining PlasticsEurope, Alicia spent three years at ANAIP as Standardization Manager where she assisted leading industry groups on polymer production, polyurethanes foams and plastic packaging.

Robert Matthews
Robert Matthews is an award-winning journalist, author and commentator on scientific issues. After reading physics at Oxford University, he became a science writer with The Times and the Sunday Telegraph in London, and is currently Science Consultant for BBC Focus magazine. In addition, he is a visiting academic at Aston University, Birmingham, specialising in statistical methods applied to medicine. He is the author of "25 Big Ideas" and is currently researching a book on probability and risk.

Victoria Sayer, Colormatrix
With experience in chemistry research and development for large FMCG organizations, Victoria Sayer joined ColorMatrix (now part of the PolyOne Corporation) ten years ago and is now global regulatory manager. Building on her first class honors degree in Chemistry from the University of York, UK, Victoria’s knowledge of regulatory compliance covers every major global market and helps meet customer demand for support in negotiating the complex world of international regulation.
Victoria has in-depth experience and understanding of food contact legislation across the globe, such as the European Plastics Implementation Measure, US FDA, Resolution AP(89) for colorants, Chinese standard GB9685 for use of additives in food containers and packaging materials, as well as Mercosur food contact regulations. Victoria works with packaging manufacturers, chemical suppliers and legal advisers to ensure new packaging meets requirements for each market

Professor Richard Sharpe, University of Edinburgh
Richard Sharpe is based in the MRC/University Centre for Reproductive Health in Edinburgh where he heads a research programme on developmental disorders of (mainly male) reproductive health. He is a Professor in Edinburgh University College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine. His expertise and research interests cover sexual differentiation, development and puberty (and disorders thereof), fetal programming, endocrinology, the effects of lifestyle (smoking, obesity, diet, use of personal care products) and environmental chemical exposures on reproductive development and function.
He is increasingly interested in the inter-relationships between reproductive and wider aspects of health in relation to diet, obesity, inflammation and aging. He serves/has served on numerous advisory bodies in Europe and elsewhere, and as a member of Council for the Society for Endocrinology and as co-Chair of their Special Interest Group on ‘Endocrine disruptors’. He is a Deputy Editor of Human Reproduction.
