Paul Bavister, Flanagan Lawrence
Paul graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 1999, and is an Associate Director at Flanagan Lawrence, and a Director of Soundforms. Whilst at Flanagan Lawrence, Paul has been project architect of the RIBA award winning Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, and a series of beachfront pavilions, part of the regeneration of Weymouth sea front, in time for the Olympics in 2012. Part completed June 2012. Whilst at Foster + Partners, Paul was involved in Corby City Academy, Peterborough City Academy, UK Supreme Court and a master plan for Folkestone.

Paul has had work published in the RIBA Journal, Building Design, AD: Hypersurface Architecture and the AD Tom Kovac monograph. Paul is an active member of sound art group Audialsense, and has given lectures on the relationships between sound art and architecture at universities across  the UK. Paul co-runs Unit 14 at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

Brigitte Dero, ECVM

Dr. Brigitte Dero obtained her PhD in Sciences (Molecular Biology) at the Free University of Brussels in 1988. In June 1999 she joined the European Chemical Industry Council as Sector Group Manager and was appointed Director of the Plastic additives department in December 2001.In this position she developed an in depth knowledge in PVC stabilisers, plasticisers, flame retardants, antioxidants and food contact additives.

Since 2000 she is also a member of the board of Vinyl 2010 and subsequently VinylPlus, the legal body in charge of the implementation of the Voluntary Commitment of the European PVC industry.

In December 2011 she became General Manager of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers and Deputy-General Manager of VinylPlus.

Jane Gardner, Axion Recycling 
Jane Gardner is a Senior Consultant for Axion Consulting, who are the UK agents for Recovinyl. Jane has worked for Axion for 5 years as part of the UK Recovinyl team and has been involved in setting up Recofloor the Vinyl Take Back Scheme.

Chris Howick, INEOS ChlorVinyls 
Dr Chris Howick is a graduate of the City University and of Nottingham University, Chris became the Product Stewardship Manager for INEOS Chlorvinyls in December 2006 and is responsible for PVC resins.

Sajjad Karim MEP
Sajjad Karim is a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for North West England. Karim was the first British Muslim elected to the European Parliament on 4 June 2004. He was re elected in 2009. Sajjad Karim is a European Parliament representative on the VinylPlus Monitoring Committee. He has authored a number of reports leading to new legislation which is aimed to cut red tape, particularly for SME's.

Roger Mottram, BPF Vinyls Group Chairman
Roger joined ICI in 1984 and has worked in the chemicals and polymers industry ever since. Roger's first involvement with the PVC industry was in 1989 when he was seconded from ICI to European Vinyls Corporation.

Roger has specialised in environmental and regulatory affairs and sustainable development activities for the PVC industry during the last 16 years. With the coming together of INEOS Chlor and INEOS Vinyls in 2006 the environmental and
regulatory affairs role has been extended to cover all chlor-alkali products.

Roger is currently active on many industry committees especially with the BPF, ECVM, PlasticsEurope, EuroChlor and ECSA. A founder member and participant in the BPF Vinyls Group and the VinylSUM network.

Tracey Perry, Altro

Tracy studied for a degree in Chemistry at the University of Hertfordshire before working as a Haematologist at Glaxo Group Research in Hertfordshire. In 1990 She joined Sigma Coatings, a manufacturer of commercial paints as a Development Chemist.

In 2001 Tracy joined Altro Ltd, a leading manufacturer of commercial floor coverings and wall cladding products. As the Sustainability, Environmental & Quality Manager, Tracy’s primary responsibility is to manage the company’s environmental programme, Steps to Sustainability.

John Rodigan, Fife Council
John Rodigan is the Fife Council Senior Manager responsible for Building Services, Scotland’s second largest public sector construction organisation with a workforce of 1000 and an annual turnover of  £108m. John has been with Fife Council for 28 years, he is a Chartered Surveyor to trade and previously worked for the Property Services Department and Fife Constabulary as their Estate Surveyor.

The start of the Scottish Housing Quality Standard programme in 2010 prompted John to consider what could be achieved with the £7m budget for window replacement. With his surveying background and best value focus John set about redesigning a 20 year old window specification to give Fife arguably the best performing, environmentally friendly, mass produced Upvc window in the UK.
