Image   Jessica Baker, Chase Plastics
Jessica has worked in the plastics recycling industry for over 25 years from the early days of post consumer waste recycling to the present day.  She is an MD at Chase Plastics Ltd, an independent reprocessor of mainly polythene film plastic waste.  This family run company has been recycling plastic for over 50 years. She is a strong supporter of the UK Plastic Reprocessing Sector.
Image   Roger Baynham, BPF Recycling Group Chairman
Roger has 25 years experience in the industry, originally with Philip Tyler Ltd and since 1994 as Managing Director of Philip Tyler Polymers Ltd. Additionally he was appointed as a non –executive Director of Environmental Recycling Technologies PLC in 2006 and has more recently taken up an executive position as Managing Director. Roger is also a chairman of the WRAP Plastic Forum.
Image   Bernard Chase, Regain Polymers
Bernard’s recycling roots can be traced back uninterrupted through 3 generations to his grandfather’s scrap rubber business founded in the 1920s. A graduate of Warwick University with a degree in Philosophy & Politics, Bernard’s career in plastics recycling has spanned nearly 40 years from Directorship of Chase Plastics Ltd, the family business specialising in Polythene film recycling, to his current role as Purchasing Director for Regain Polymers Limited (formerly Linpac Plastics Recycling) one of the largest UK specialists in rigid plastics recycling.
Image   Nick Cliffe, Closed Loop Recycling
Nick Cliffe is a graduate of Imperial College in Biochemistry and subsequently studied Oceanography at the University of Southampton. He has worked in the resource management and recycling field for the past 11 years, initially for the Forest Stewardship Council in the UK, then a Queens Award winning Social Enterprise called Green-Works which recycled large volumes of contract office furniture. He joined Closed Loop Recycling, a leading UK plastics recycling firm, in 2007 working at the firm's first Mixed Plastic Bottle plant in Dagenham.

Peter Davis, British Plastics Federation
Peter Davis has been the Director General of the British Plastics Federation from 1st October 1997.  Before that he was the Chief Executive of Incpen (The Industry Council for Packaging and the Environment) from October 1993 - September 1997.
He has previously held the following positions: Director of Marketing; Membership and International Affairs at the Royal Institute of British Architects; Head of Home Affairs in the Conservative Research Department; Special Adviser to Environment Secretary Kenneth Baker MP. He has held management positions in the following companies: 3M Medical Products, Dylon International and has also worked for INCO and Metal Box.
    Mark Dowling Technical Director Giraffe Innovation
Mark has been with Giraffe Innovation for 6 years and has recently taken on the role of technical director. He is an extremely experienced Eco design,
waste prevention and environmental impact specialist, with excellent knowledge in the manufacturing and retail sectors,  with over 20 years
experience in the plastics industry. He is a former manager at BT’s Environment Unit where represented BT at Government and EU level on much of
the producer responsibility legislation.

Matthew Farrow, Environmental Service Association
Matthew joined the ESA as Director of Policy in January 2011.  He is responsible for leading all ESA's policy work on behalf of its members.  Prior to joining ESA, Matthew worked at CBI, where he held a number of management positions in the CBI's Policy Directorates, most recently as Head of the CBI's Energy, Transport & Planning policy team.

Keith Freegard, Axion Recycling
Keith is a Director of Axion Recycling Ltd, with over 25 years of operational management experience in a wide range of production environments. As a Chartered Chemical Engineer, Keith believes in applying the best processing technology to extract maximum yield and value from plastic waste streams. In recent years he has been developing Axion’s unique plastics recycling business in Manchester with a focus on sales and marketing of high-quality polymers made from recovered WEEE plastic waste.

Bruce Margetts, RPC Containers
Bruce has been involved in manufacturing plastics packaging for 25 years, encompassing all the key conversion technologies. Bruce has spent the last 14 years at RPC Containers. He was initially responsible for an extrusion and thermoforming factory and is currently responsible for the RPC UK injection moulding businesses at five sites across the UK.
