Summit Systems Wins Outstanding Achievement Award

The Horners, in conjunction with the BPF, launched a new award in recognition of outstanding achievement by companies or organisations in reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic.  The first recipients of the award were Merchant Taylors’ School Northwood (see more here), and Summit Systems.

Summit Systems developed a unique product to enable people to get back to work safely during the COVID-19 period. The solution allowed for a rapid return to work for all staff, as safely as possible. In response to the new requirements for social distancing, Summit systems produced a new "Defence Shield" that can be put in offices and places of work.

David Williams, Chairman of the Horners Awards Committee, makes a “socially distanced” presentation of  the Horners Covid 19 Outstanding Achievement Award 2020 to Mike Jordan, MD of Summit Systems for their innovative “Defence Shield”.

It offered essential protection for offices, receptions, restaurant, schools and universities. The lightweight and versatile product is manufactured in the UK and is quick and easy to install onto any desk without tools.

The unique magnet click system allows rapid deployment and can be configured to suit any workspace environment. It offers increased levels of safety and reduces anxiety by introducing a physical barrier in between you and others preventing the spread of germs.
