ISO 14001

We have previously discussed our aim of becoming a more environmentally conscious business, so we are happy to announce that we are now ISO 14001:2015 certified. Our new environmental management plan ensures we are actively taking steps to reduce our environmental impact.

This ISO certification will help us to demonstrate our commitment to becoming more sustainable, as we continue to focus on reducing waste and improving resource efficiency across the business.

PET Recycling

As part of our environmental commitment, we have also been developing new ways to reduce waste for our extrusion customers in the plastics industry.

Xtrutech can now provide PET recycling equipment that effectively recycles PET plastic back into the production process. We have successfully demonstrated that our equipment can reprocess various forms of Polyethylene terephthalate and in particular fines.

As a result, we can offer our customers a closed loop of operation, so they can utilise quality materials in-house that would have been destined for landfill. This allows our customers to improve their raw material efficiency whilst simultaneously reducing waste.
