Synseal Strengthens BPF Windows Group Membership
Monday, 1 June 2015
Synseal, the dynamic supplier of extruded PVC-U window and door systems, fabricated vertical sliding windows, patio and bi-fold doors, conservatory roofs, orangeries, solid roofs, insulated glass units and hardware, has joined the BPF Windows Group (BPFWG); consolidating the trade association as the leading body representing the interests of all those involved in the UK Plastics Window Industry.
Synseal, founded in 1980, acquired the trade and operating assets of BPF Member Litchfield Group’s UK window & trade extrusion and door businesses in November last year, positioning it as one of the UK’s largest system companies.
BPFWG’s system companies, namely Deceuninck, Duraflex, Epwin, Eurocell, REHAU and Veka, supported by key raw materials suppliers, additive suppliers, and fabricators have welcomed Synseal into membership, ensuring that the Group will continue to play a major role in reassuring that plastic windows have the credibility they deserve as sustainable construction products.
‘I would like to welcome Synseal into membership. I see it as a great addition to the Group’, said BPFWG chairman, Martin Althorpe.
Synseal’s Head of Research & Development Phil Parry stated ‘We are delighted to join the BPFWG and look forward to playing an active part in association activities. At Synseal we supply a choice of four PVC-U window and door systems – Legend, Shield, SynerJy and Sheerframe – to over 300 fabricators and so we are well positioned to offer technical expertise and commercial insights to help forge best practice across our industry.’
