TH Plastics Appoints Matt Knight

TH Plastics Ltd has quickly become the market-leading ancillary products and solutions provider in the UK, backed by a solid technical team, we are experiencing a healthy growth across the ancillary equipment and recycling sectors. As we have grown, we needed to strengthen our sales presence across the UK to better support our exclusive distribution partners and growing customer base. The latest recruit for TH is Matthew Knight, who takes on the role of Area Sales Manager for the South West of England, inclusive of South Wales.
Matthew has a has built a well-respected reputation in the plastics industry, representing world renowned injection moulding machine manufacturer – Arburg – in both service and automation applications. Matthew spent over 10 years with Arburg and has built a wealth of knowledge of which to build upon with TH Plastics in the ancillary sector. His background as a service engineer has helped him to develop an impressive technical knowledge for various applications, and his engineering mindset will no doubt be of benefit to our expanding customer base. Coupled with over 5 years of designing automation solutions for Arburg’s key customers, this has given him a unique understanding of how manufacturers work and what their primary drivers for success are. His key asset is being able to understand customer requirements, and designing a solution to meet their needs, considering practicality, safety, efficiency and above all else a great value, reliable solution. Understanding the customers’ needs is crucial, and he said, “If you know the challenges that face the manufacturers, it’s much easier to offer solutions. This will help me to build my network not only in injection moulding, but in other sectors of plastics manufacturing. I am eager to build my network and help manufacturers in my territory improve their processes.”
