The BPF Launches Energy Seminar On 12th February 2014

The BPF has launched a seminar titled “UK Energy: Will Supply Equal Demand?” which is set to take place on 12th February 2014 at the BPF offices in London.

The seminar will examine the risk to the plastics industry of energy blackouts and will also look at future energy perspectives and prospects. It will give practical advice to companies on what to do in the event of power failures, including the provision of emergency supplies.

INENCO will examine supply and demand fundamentals, SSE will provide the perspective from a leading energy company and the National Grid will give its standpoint. Nifes will speak on the availability of emergency power and Willis will cover insurance implications of a potential energy blackout.

The seminar will be of major interest to all plastics companies interested in their energy future and will provide a thorough examination of the issue.
