The BPF Mourns Loss of Former Chairman

The British Plastics Federation learnt with much regret of the death on 23rd September at the age of 94 of HAC Collinson, Chairman of the BPF from 1964-66.

Hac was a marvellous chairman and a great character who up until his late eighties was fit enough to go out horse riding on a regular basis.

HAC was a staunch supporter of the BPF over a period of many years.  From 1950-62 he was Chairman of the BPFs main Technical Committee and was instrumental in bringing about changes in tests and standards within the industry at this time.

Until recently HAC attended BPF Past Presidents and Chairmens lunches and his apt and entertaining votes of thanks in reply to incoming Presidents speeches will be fondly remembered.
