Waste Management Workshop
Manufacturers in the South West of England can learn how to manage their waste and reduce their landfill costs at a complimentary knowledge exchange workshop to be held at the University of Exeter. Recycling and materials experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the waste management and recycling industry for plastics and composite materials. Attendees will find out how other companies manage their waste and learn the practices used to recycle thermosets, thermoplastics and composite materials.
Run by the Centre for Alternative Materials and Remanufacturing Technologies (CALMARE), the Waste Management and Recycling workshop takes place on Wednesday, May 7th from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Because the centre is part funded until summer 2015 by the European Regional Development Fund, there will be no attendance costs incurred by qualifying small to medium enterprises, who are based in the South West.
The workshop will form half of a 12 hour fully funded business assist for interested companies. Complementary bacon rolls, tea, coffee and lunch will be provided during the workshop.
