Weta secured this statue to the styrofoma with bolts on the underside of the base to avoid any damage during transit, so be sure to remove those before attempting to remove the statue from the styrofoam. You might need a wrench to remove them (not included).

Piece with excellent detail and quality as you would expect from Weta. It is quite large and heavy, and very impressive!

There are some scrapes to the felt material on the underside of the base (see image #8) - it happened either when removing or attaching the bolts that secure to base to the styrofoam. The white hole seen in the picture is where the bolt enters not damage - the. Are just to the right of the hole. Otherwise the piece is in excellent condition with no damage. The box does have some edge and corner bumps.
