Includes a parchment certificate of authenticity, along with a second certificate personally autographed by production artist John Howe, who designed the hilt on the Narsil sword and played a major role in designing many of the other swords featured in the Lord of the Rings trilogy of feature films. Blade Material: Solid metal, antiqued metal finish, false-edged. Handle Material: Solid metal cross guard and pommel, antique silver plated finish, 24-K gold plated fittings, engraved Elven runes, genuine leather-wrapped grip, rat-tail tang construction. Plaque: 11-1/2" x 47" x 3/4 silk screened wood.

This sword has NEVER been displayed or hung in fact the medallion has never been placed onto the mount and still has the plastic protective coating as displayed in the photos, this is a truly clean sword. My collection of swords were evicted by my wife in favor of a playroom for our kids. Now Wife forces sale of my sword collection in favor to a trip to Disney. Sword and mount are in great condition and come in the original box which includes all of the original packing which was removed for the photos.
