THE LORD OF THE RINGS. This gorgeous, high-end The Lord of the Rings chess set from the Noble Collection is a work of art detailing the story of Frodo and the friends and enemies he encounters on his journey to destroy the One Ring. A map of Middle-earth is mounted below the playing surface, and the base contains images of the most memorable characters and scenes from the film.

The 32 playing pieces are detailed miniature sculptures of the characters from the film, made in fine pewter. Each piece measures between 2 - 3 inches in height and bears an incredible likeness to the actor as it was personally approved by each of them.

Some of the pieces included are: Arwen, Aragorn, Gandalf, Galadriel, Boromir, Pippin, Frodo, Sam, Merry, four different Orcs, Orthanc Tower, Cave Troll, Ringwraith, Saruman, Lurtz, and Uruk-Hai. The board measures 15 by 15 by 4.5 inches. The top of the board is plexiglass and the rest of the board is made from cold cast porcelain. Hero pieces have a green ring around the bottom and villain pieces have a purple ring around the bottom.
