Vintage UNCUT 1970s Lord of the Rings Middle Earth Map Poster Ballantine Books

  

You can actually see the cross-shaped hash marks at the very top of the poster in locations where it would have been cut into 3 separate posters. There are probably very few of these posters in uncut condition like this one in existence.

The writing on the bottom of the middle poster says Drawn and embellished by Pauline Baynes. Based on the cartography of J. George Alien & Unwin ltd.

It measures over 70 inches wide and over 42 inches tall, I had to stand on a chair just to photograph it! It does have some wear, there is a small rip in the bottom of the middle posters edge and the poster on the left has what looks like a water stain on the far-left edge of it.
