2026 BPF Horners Awards Open For Entries!

After another highly successful year in 2025, the Worshipful Company of Horners and the British Plastics Federation are delighted to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 BPF Horners Awards.
Celebrating its 80th Awards and recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades in the industry, the BPF Horners Awards celebrate outstanding innovation in plastics manufacturing and processes developed across the UK. The two award categories for 2026 are:
Innovation & Design Award: Open to any innovation that contains or relates to a polymer (including plastic products, processes, machinery, and concepts).
David Williams Award: Presented to products or services that make an exceptional contribution to society, such as advancing healthcare or supporting sustainability.
Winners will receive a Horners Trophy, a winner’s certificate, and an invitation to either the Horners Annual Banquet at Mansion House or the British Plastics Federation’s Annual Dinner - providing excellent opportunities to connect with peers and industry leaders. In addition, winners will be featured in an official press release and promoted across BPF social media channels.
BPF Membership Services Director Stephen Hunt said:
“These awards highlight the very best in UK plastics innovation, demonstrating how the industry continues to evolve while making a significant contribution to society across a wide range of sectors. Each year I am impressed by the breadth and quality of entries we receive, and I’m certain 2026 will be no exception.”

Chairman of the Horners Award Committee Stefaan Simons said:
“The BPF Horners Awards provide a fantastic platform to showcase innovation across the plastics sector - from established manufacturers to emerging businesses, researchers, creative designers, and entrepreneurs. If you have developed a product or process that represents a smart and impactful use of plastics, I would strongly encourage you to enter and gain the recognition your work deserves."
